Ok, so I've not been a good blogger with this particular blog. It's been a busy year.
Good busy, though. New clients, repeat business, new information to process. One of my friends likes to mention that we all get the same amount of time every day and no one gets more or less than we do. What will you do with your 1,440 minutes today?
Good question. What will you do with your 1,440 minutes today? What's keeping you stuck in neutral? Are there new habits to form today? Projects that have been on the back burner for far too long?
Do something different today than what you did yesterday to break out of your routine. If you keep doing things to improve areas of your life in small increments you will see a big difference soon.

It really is the journey...
How many people do you know who are truly aware? They know their place in the universe and are content with where they are in life. Most people are stuck in neutral without any clear sense of direction.
I have been there too. But never for long extended periods of time. While I have never reached my ultimate goals in life, I most likely never will. Why would I ever think that? It's because I keep pushing for higher goals. If I ever surpassed my lofty goals, I'd no longer be motivated by the journey taken to get there.
That's what keeps life exciting. It's the journey. It's the opportunity to strive for bigger and better goals. It's why I love to golf. I will never be perfect, and neither will Tiger Woods. Unless he figures out how to get 18 holes-in-one in one round.
Golf is a perfect metaphor for life. Being passionate, hard-working, frustrated, angry, joyful, lucky, disappointed, excited, etc. are all emotions you can have during a round of golf.
So as long as I have the ability to improve and get better, no matter what it is, I will be excited to be alive and keep moving forward. If you're not getter better, you're getting worse. There is no 'status quo' for personal development.
Choose anything in life that excites you and you are passionate about. How can you improve upon where you are in life right now? What can you do to be better tomorrow than you were today? It is all about the journey.
